About Brett Ringeisen:

As a child, Brett Ringeisen’s father, Chet, moved the family from Lafayette, LA to Vero Beach, FL with the goal of establishing and running several businesses. Their family acquired a small business called Norris Record Center where Brett began working at the age of 14. Brett watched the industry grow over the last 50 years from the early days of records and cassette tapes to the 1st in-home televisions, to what we refer to today as "custom home electronics." As the industry changed, so did the business name and eventually Norris Record Center became The Audiohouse by the mid-’70s. Brett’s loyalty to both the industry and marketplaces needs over the decades helped him grow a once small-town record shop into an acclaimed, fixture of his Vero beach community.

Interview Recap:

  • How the family business and electronics industry evolved over the decades
  • The very first CEDIA event in 1990!
  • Brett's windsurfing accident and how that affected him as well as the company
  • Lessons learned from the hardship and how they made him a better leader

Brett Ringeisen and his team at The Audiohouse, Vero Beach, Fla., want clients to appreciate a good home theater, but not by plopping down on a seat and watching movie clips. They want clients to enjoy the beauty of the space instead.
The 2,000-square-foot Audiohouse showroom has all of the standard elements — big displays, finely tuned speakers, top-end components, and automated lighting — but what sets the place apart is its ultra-cool cosmetics.

The bright, airy space incorporates punches of silver and red, along with mid century modern-style furniture. The electronics echo the showroom’s clean, modern aesthetic.

CEO's Run Their Companies From Island Homes.

Peter Krivkovich doesn't know when he'll return home to Chicago, where the coronavirus pandemic has hit hard and his advertising agency's employees are working remotely.

"Tough to say right now," Krivkovich said last week.

But in the mean time the chairman and CEO of Cramer-Krasselt plans to continue running his high profile agency from a fully equipped home office in his Windsor home, servicing a list of clients that include Porsche, Tropicana, Nikon, Heinz, Corona Beer, Mueller's pasta, Florsheim shoes, and Edward Jones Investments.
